I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering at Tsinghua University, advised by Prof. Nan Li, with expected completion in October 2026. I received my B.Eng. in Civil Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2021, ranking first in a cohort of 140 students.

Research Interests

My research develops optimization and decision-making frameworks for large-scale engineering systems, with applications in post-disaster infrastructure recovery and urban resilience. I draw on integer and bilevel optimization, game theory, reinforcement learning, and engineering simulation to tackle coordination and sequential decision-making challenges in complex infrastructure networks exposed to natural hazards.

This agenda connects three closely related directions:

Optimization and Learning for Infrastructure Decision-Making

I develop large-scale network optimization algorithms for emergency response and recovery planning of interdependent infrastructures, spanning mixed-integer and bilevel optimization, cooperative and non-cooperative game theory, graph neural networks, and reinforcement learning for sequential decisions under uncertainty.

Resilience of Interdependent Infrastructure Systems

I investigate cascading failure mechanisms, spatiotemporal damage propagation, and dynamic recovery processes of lifeline networks such as power, wastewater, drainage, and transportation systems under multi-hazard scenarios.

Climate Adaptation and Social Equity

I incorporate climate adaptation strategies, human behavior, and equity considerations into long-term infrastructure governance and resilience planning for cities facing escalating hazard risks.
